What to Expect
Over the course of the year, we will visit a number of beautiful locations throughout the state to enjoy God’s creation and grow closer as a community. During our first excursion, Zeb Weese, Executive Director of Kentucky State Nature Preserves, will guide us on a special hike through Lower Howard’s Creek Nature & Heritage Preserve. Following our hike, we will have lunch in Lexington. Light snacks and water will be provided during the hike.
What To Wear
-Warm layers!!! (coat, hat, gloves, warm pants, warm socks, etc.)
-Hiking boots or treaded athletic shoes (be prepared for mud/slick spots)
-Water Bottle (if you own one)
